Our Vision: A world where everyone has a decent place to live.
Hanover and King William Habitat for Humanity is founded on volunteerism and values the contributions made by individuals who give their time to work with us as volunteers. Volunteers are a vital part of our builds. Our homes are built mainly from volunteers, both skilled and unskilled. All you need is a willing heart and the time! This volunteer-driven organization relies on volunteers like you to help families realize the dream of homeownership.
What We Do
Volunteers are asked to create housewarming gift baskets – either made of maintenance, kitchen, cleaning, or gardening supplies. They are intended to be given to our homeowners when they move into their new homes and help start their new chapter. These gift baskets are another way to give them a hand up in their new homes. Individuals or small groups are welcome to contribute.
